Il nome del genere è un'alterazione di mwdgSimaetha mwdwmweaThorell, 1881, con cui ha varie affinità.

Caratteristiche

Questo genere ha molte peculiarità in comune con gli affini mwewSimaetha mwfaThorell, 1881 e mwfqStertinius mwfgmwfwSimon, 1890cite-ref-zhang2003-1-0[1].

Distribuzione

Le sette specie oggi note di questo genere sono diffuse in mwhgAustraliacite-ref-salticidae-2-0[2].
